While in Greece Q and myself got hosted by lovely Katherine called Kay by her friends. After a long trip to stunning Zagora village (famous for Zagorin apples) in the mountain called Pelion; as we all settled down Kay quickly tossed a salad and served it with some Cipuro ( a stronger version of Ouzo). How can I describe this Greek salad called Dakos but it to say – DELCIOUS!!And how much we all had!
I had never experienced a sit down formal (almost) dinner till I got invited by Alice at her lovely home in Greece where she treated us to Octopus (click here for recipe) and Pita. Your trip to Greece is not complete till you taste the absolutely delicious Pita. It involves some amount of work which pays off in the form of multi crispy layers in a Pita. Alice howver shared a comparitively easier recipe comprising of 2 thick and crispy layers instead of multiple one and still tasting good.
This Europe trip of mine has made me a hard core carnivore 
From selective non vegetarian I have started to eat just about anything.Having said that i will still save snakes and frogs perhaps for my next birth! For now I will stick to experimenting with sea food!

The idea of using a Raclette machine might have originated to encourage or enjoy a single meal together with family and friends. Imagine the cheese getting melted on hot Raclette plates while you chit and chat sitting around it and in no time the cheese finds its way to your plate on top of the hot boiled vegetables in particular potatoes (Europeans love their potatoes!).
First and foremost thing I would like to do is apologise for not being able to share recipes since last so many days! I have been traveling extensively. As a matter of fact I am writing this post from a beautiful city of Malmo in Sweden …..Looking at the brighter side I have now few recipes from Europe directly from people whom I met or friends who hosted me!
